Everest School Enters a New Digital Era
Everest International School is preparing to launch a new digital platform that will replace Kinderpedia. A fully redesigned experience created to connect parents, students, teachers, and the administration within one modern, intuitive, and secure school environment.

A new platform designed specifically for our school community
Everest International School is preparing to take another major step in its digital transformation with the launch of a completely new school management and communication system, which will gradually replace Kinderpedia.
More than a simple platform change, this project reflects Everest School’s ambition to provide its entire community with a digital experience that is more modern, intuitive, complete, and specifically adapted to the school’s real needs.
The new platform has been designed as a central hub for school life, allowing important information to be followed, organised, communicated, and managed from one connected environment.
One platform, four personalised experiences
Parents, students, teachers, and administrators do not have the same needs. For this reason, the new system will provide a personalised experience for each type of user.
For parents, the platform will offer a clear overview of their children’s school journey, including attendance, lateness, homework, published results, report cards, announcements, messages, calendar events, documents, and, where activated by the school, financial information. Families with more than one child at Everest will also be able to switch easily between student profiles.
For students, the platform will become a daily academic companion. Timetables, homework, instructions, deadlines, upcoming assessments, results, learning resources, calendars, and important school information will all be available in one place, helping students become more organised, independent, and engaged in their learning.
For teachers, the new system will bring together the tools needed for everyday academic responsibilities, including classes, subjects, students, timetables, attendance, homework, assessments, grades, resources, calendar events, and authorised communication with families. The platform is also designed to reduce repetitive administrative work by allowing information to be entered once and reused where relevant across the system.
For the administration, Everest School will provide a central operational environment for managing student records, family information, staff, classes, subjects, timetables, attendance, documents, communications, academic data, school settings, finance, and other authorised areas of school management.
Bringing school life together
One of the main goals of the project is to reduce the fragmentation of information across different tools, messages, documents, spreadsheets, and communication channels.
The new Everest platform will bring together key areas such as attendance, homework, assessments, academic progress, timetables, the school calendar, messaging, announcements, notifications, documents, learning resources, and selected financial information within one coherent environment.
Teachers will be able to manage attendance directly through the platform, while parents and students will be able to view the information relevant to them according to their permissions.
Academic follow-up will also become more structured. Homework, assessments, grades, teacher comments, report cards, and attendance can contribute to a clearer and more continuous view of each student’s educational journey.
Clearer and more structured communication
Communication is one of the key pillars of the new Everest experience.
School announcements may be sent to the entire community or targeted to specific sections, classes, groups, or user categories. Private messaging will support authorised communication between parents, teachers, and the administration according to the communication rules established by the school.
The objective is not to create another social network, but to provide an official, professional, structured, and school-controlled communication environment.
Web, iOS and Android
The new Everest digital experience is being designed to support the school community wherever they are.
The platform will be available on the web, as well as through experiences for iOS and Android, making it easier for parents and students in particular to access important school information from their phones.
The experience will also adapt to the user. Parents and students will benefit from a mobile-first approach, teachers will be able to work across phones, tablets, and computers, while administrative users will have access to a more comprehensive responsive management environment.
Security at the heart of the project
Because school platforms manage sensitive information relating to children and their families, security and data protection are fundamental principles of the project.
Access will depend on each user’s role and authorised relationships. Parents will access information relating to their authorised children, students will access their own permitted information, teachers will access the classes and responsibilities assigned to them, and administrative users will access only the areas linked to their responsibilities.
User accounts will be created through controlled invitation processes, while sensitive administrative actions can be recorded through audit functionality, supporting greater accountability and responsible system management.
A platform built for Everest
What sets this new system apart is that it is not simply a generic school platform adapted afterwards.
It has been conceived around the structure, academic organisation, community, and everyday needs of Everest International School.
As the institutional project states:
One school. One connected digital experience.
Better-informed parents, more independent students, better-equipped teachers, and an administration with a clearer overview of school operations: the new Everest platform is designed to bring the whole school community closer together.
Its launch will mark an important milestone in Everest International School’s continued development towards an educational experience that is increasingly connected, accessible, secure, and future-ready.
